Voice-Over Session Overview
Our Voice-Over Coach will spend the first hour preparing you and guiding you through various vocal techniques. After your training, you will move on to the 1-hour recording session for your professional demo.
Our Sound Engineer and Voice-Over Coach will work together to record your demo in our top-quality vocal booth. All necessary scripts and studio-quality recording gear are provided.
You’ll receive a polished digital audio copy upon completion.
MEET THE TEAM
Michellita Taylor M.S, CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who has been practicing for over 5 years in both the educational and medical settings. She completed her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida in Communications and her graduate degree in Communicative Science Disorders for Speech-Language Pathology with honors from Nova Southeastern University.
Michellita specializes in providing corporate and professional coaching for elevating communication exchanges.
Michellita is a native of Jacksonville and the proud mother of a beautiful little girl. She is an accomplished singer, speaker, and motivator as the owner of Taylor Made Voices LLC.
Raushan “PunchBoi” Simmons is a Multi-Platinum, award-nominated producer from New Jersey. With an extensive list of world-renowned beats under the name PunchBoi Productions and a library of music knowledge, his credentials span multiple genres. His soul and passion for music runs deep in his family ~ from his mother whose collaborated with legendary artists such as Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston; to his godfather, mentor and founder of The Fugees.
His musical drive started at the age of 4 with his first drum set and the rest is history. With over 23 years in the music industry and working with a plethora of artists, Raushan has quickly become one of the top producers, song writer and engineer in the music industry today.

What should I do to prepare for a voice-over session?
Ensure you're well-rested, hydrated, and have reviewed the script in advance. Warm up your voice and practice any challenging sections.
What equipment do I need for a professional voice-over session?
A high-quality microphone, headphones, a pop filter, a soundproof recording space, and a computer with recording software are essential. All provided at Mix Theory Studios!
How can I reduce background noise during recording?
Record in a soundproof room, turn off noisy appliances, and use anoise gate or filter in your recording software. Again, we provide the best atmosphere to get high-quality sound at Mix Theory Studios!
How should I deliver the script during the session?
Speak clearly and at a steady pace, follow the script closely, and be open to direction from the vocal coach for tone and style adjustments. We will coach you through it!
What should I expect during the recording session?
You’ll likely do multiple takes of each line or section. The vocal coach may provide feedback and ask for changes to improve the performance.
What if I make a mistake during the recording?
Simply stop, take a breath, and start the line again. Mistakes are common and can be edited out later.
How can I take care of my voice during long sessions?
Take regular breaks, stay hydrated, avoid straining your voice, and practice good vocal hygiene. Your vocal coach will guide you in this practice.
What should I do after the recording session?
Review the recordings for any issues, provide feedback to the vocal coach and producer if necessary, and rest your voice to recover from the session.
